These forums were historically for our members to setup games to play against each other. We have decided to open these sub-forums up to the masses (there are a number of very active forums up above that are for subscribers only, thus invisible to non-subscribers). We want to get more like minded gamers to play with, but we also don't want to disturb the balance of the forum which in general has been friendly, informative, and fun.

As such, the rules are as follows:

0. When sending a friends request to anyone please say that you are doing it from this forum. Personally I deny friend requests from names I don't know without any text explaining who they are.

1. We aren't super competitive, but we do take what we are doing seriously. So, for instance, if you join a Destiny raid and try to be a drill sergeant, or on the flipside you won't stop talking/joking/etc you probably aren't a fit for us. We take it seriously enough to get it done, and have fun/laugh/joke in between. This may seem nebulous but if we feel like you don't quite get it, you will be removed.

2. The forums are for setting up games. Having chats about the games themselves are fine. But, another for instance, there's no reason to start posting about how Driveclub is better/worse than Forza Horizon 2 in the Driveclub forum. The Driveclub forum is for Driveclub. Not all racing game talk, or even worse... system wars. We do have a fantastic racing game debate post in the subscriber area, and that's where that type of talk is gonna stay.

3. We are generally older gamers. If you are younger, that isn't necessarily a problem, but i've found that adults tend to like to play with adults, and teenagers like to play with teenagers. There are exceptions to the rule though so if you are younger but still fit in, that's just fine.

4. If your presence here is just to post your newest The Golf Club course, or LBP3 level, or whatever, but not really participate otherwise, you will be removed. Active members that want to share their creations... that's totally fine. Stopping by once a week just to advertise your stuff is not. Your first post should not be advertising something you created. Have a little tact.

5. This forum in particular is for any online game you want to get going. People may be interested, they may not. Discussing issues with games (Driveclub server issues, MCC server issues) is fine. Driveby or concern trolling is not. We have one thread in the subscriber forum that is dedicated to console wars, and don't allow it anywhere else. This is part of anywhere else.

6. Fun. We are here for fun. We have some high skill players, but this isn't some elite gaming community. It's a bunch of folks who have fun playing video games. We prefer positivity to negativity. There is plenty to complain about in the gaming industry, but sometimes it's nice to STFU and just play a game and enjoy it. That's what we use these forums for.
