My gut tells me it'll be scaled to WotM levels, but who knows.

This late in the game I don't see them taking the light level any higher. Guess we'll find out more tomorrow

Honestly i don't know they are live steaming the next 2 Tuesdays to talk about it i would expect it to be the high 300's for normal mode but that really is just me guessing

Well screw me sideways this sounds like it might be the best update yet.

LL staying 400
All raids coming up to current specs.
Vex Mythoclast is back
Elemental primaries are back
Kings Fall will drop better shit
Some cheese fixed (oracles for example) but also other tweaks to the raids (oracles for example. Shorter encounter)

Raids will be 390 light not sure if thats the normal or hard mode requirement. Means you need to be around 381+ to do the content.

Didn't install Destiny when I got my Pro and looking at Destiny Tracker, I'm only at 369 light, so I don't think I'll bother.

Like Ras said, there's too much else out! I'm only 20 hours into Zelda, have barley touched Horizon, not to mention games like GR 2, Nier, Mass Effect and Persona 5. Not sure I'll find time.

Side note: How is 131 hours played in the bottom 14% of players?!!! This just states how much of a dedicated community they have, especially when only half the people who buy 8-12 hour single player games actually finish them.

If it's not going to be a crazy grind to hit Raid ready, I'll be interested. I can do that stuff sitting at my desk, I'll need to log in and put all my best gear on my warlock and see what light I am currently though. I'm at a paltry 520 hours.

Same. Get a lot of flak about my Destiny 2 hype train but whatever. I miss playing with people and Destiny is/was the only game we've ever all managed to sit down and play together haha.

Yeah, I agree. I'm often low leveled when I've done the raids with you guys, but I've always loved just hanging out. Plus none of my friends play, so I couldn't experience that content without this community.

Reinstalled it. I'm balls deep in Mass effect and have more endings to hit in Nier. And MLB unlocks tonight. And Persona 5 next week. But... sometimes I don't want to pay attention to a story and just want to listen to music and wreck shit. When I feel like that I'll gear up. I think I'm 371 currently.

As for raids I work Saturdays so that sucks for me. If there is Sunday ones I'll be on for that. Or if you guys run other ones with other people at other times and need someone I'm down. I'm not drinking these days so I'm a bit more focussed than I was over the last few years. I'm sure I still suck though.

Did Crota's End and we knocked out the 2 challenge modes as well. Snagged an Adept Fang of Ir Yut and an Adept Oversoul Edict. And a badass new emblem.

Challenge modes:

Deathsinger - Kill everything except Deathsinger, she'll scream, more adds will come (6 knights, 3 ogres). Kill those and a swordbearer will come out. Kill swordbearer and kill Ir Yut with the sword (1 hit). This is hard. We did it in exactly 2:05 last night. AoT book wants it done in 2:00. Gonna be tough.

Crota - If you drop the sword, you can't pick it back up. We did this last night and it took 3 sword runners to kill him, but none of us were 400. All over 390 though. This fight has another change where every time he stands up he casts oversoul. We were able to time the 2nd "down" and killing the oversoul in such a way that he didn't spawn a 2nd one, but there's apparently videos of a 2nd one popping, so that's something to keep an eye out for.

---

Other raid changes: Ditching PS3/XB360 has allowed them to spawn a metric fuckton of enemies during the maze. The final battle while building the bridge was insane.

Bridge encounter is mostly the same, except for a couple small things: when 5th person goes over, 6 swords will spawn (2 on the starting side). Instead of ogres, you get a shitload of knights, followed by a shitload of gatekeepers. no ogres

Crota: they put fake walls up around the window ledge. Can't use that anymore. When we did it last night we reverted back to the "top of the steps" strat.

Templar Challenge is legit the hardest thing you will ever do in the game.
